Your generous donations to the VBA Foundation help support the VBA’s educational and charitable programs. Please consider donating annually in an amount equivalent to one billable hour of your time, or more if your situation permits.

Recent projects funded with VBA Foundation grants

However you give—and in whatever amount—you can feel proud of the good work your generous support makes possible. These and other vital VBA programs rely on grants from the VBA Foundation and only happen with your help. You can consider yourself a co-sponsor of some of your favorite VBA projects:  

• The bi-annual Chief Justice’s Pro Bono Summit event (planning, promotion and hospitality)
• The annual statewide Lawyer Wellness Challenge (communication and engagement tools)
• The annual Legal Food Frenzy supporting seven Virginia food banks (marketing and engagement support)
• Timely practice management self-help resources, newsletters and webinars
• Essential educational programming through the Committee on Special Issues of National and State Importance 
• Official portraits of Virginia Supreme Court justices for permanent display at the Supreme Court building

Giving options

You can give once or give often, in any amount. Multiple gifts during the same calendar year will be combined to determine your overall annual contribution tier for the Honor Roll of Donors. 

You can multiply the value of your donation if you or your spouse works for an employer with a donation matching program.* Alongside your own commitment to the VBA Foundation, you may also consider making a one-time honorary or memorial donation recognizing a colleague or family member.
