Q: What is my username/password?
A: When visiting the new VBA website for the first time, members will need to update their log-in and password information. It is also an option to keep the same login and password. Here are instructions on how to log-in to the new VBA website:
1. Go to vba.org and click on Membership in the navigation then click My VBA Dashboard.

2. Click on I forgot my username or password
3. Enter your email address to receive an email with instructions for resetting your password. Check spam if you do not receive the email within a few minutes. If you need to update your email on file, contact us.
4. Open your email and select Click This Link to Reset Your Login
5. You’ll be directed to a page to select your account.
6. Update your new username and password
Q: Is the Virginia Bar Association the same as the Virginia State Bar?
A: No. The Virginia Bar Association (VBA) is a voluntary professional organization focused on continuing legal education, networking and advocacy. The Virginia State Bar (VSB) is the mandatory regulatory agency that handles attorney licensing, legal ethics, disciplinary matters, complaints and referrals.
Q: How do I add contacts to my contact list?
A: On a member profile, click the icon located under the email address listed. Open the file and in Outlook, you will click on Save & Close.
Q: What are the requirements to join as a law student?
A: You must be currently enrolled in an ABA accredited law school or the Law Reader program.
Q: When does my membership expire?
A: Membership runs on a calendar year and expires Dec. 31.
Q: How can my firm be included in batch firm invoicing?
