The Virginia Bar Association has a number of substantive legal sections and committees, in addition to the Law Practice Management Division, to which all VBA members belong, and the Young Lawyers Division for lawyers age 37 and younger (or in their first three years of practice, regardless of age). If you would like to access a particular group's web site, you may choose from the lists shown here.

If you are interested in joining a VBA section, you may use the online application.

If you are not a VBA member, you may use the online membership application form.

Committee Chairs are appointed by the President of the Association. Committee members are also appointed by the President on recommendation of the Committee Chair. If you are interested in participating in committee activities, you may let us know by e-mail or call our offices at (804) 644-0041.

If you are a young and/or new lawyer, be sure to visit the Young Lawyers Division page for information on becoming involved in Division committee activities.

Be sure to watch the Law Practice Management Division pages for helpful information!
